

Known for having a penchant to help those in need, he's usually embedded in a variety of tricky situations, even if some may not particularly be any of his concern. The owner of sótano, Kouichi is a warm and friendly man, and a adept judge of character. One thing is for sure, Maki is not to be messed with. And don't bother asking him about himself, as he claims to have "forgotten" everything.

His cryptic comments don't make it any easier to determine, especially since he rarely speaks at all. It's unknown if his aloofness and strange behavior are an accurate reflection of the man, or if it's all just an act. The manager and head chef of sótano, Maki has an intimidating and mysterious air about him, but he's really just a big lug. However, Ryu's cold and measured behavior only makes him more and more intriguing to Haru. He instantly dislikes Haru upon his arrival and tries to spend as little time and effort dealing with the him as possible, as he does in any situation he deems beneath him. Truthfully though, Ryu is conceited, neurotic and short-tempered. While on duty, Ryu exudes charm and confidence, handling any situation with aplomb.
